The PPH Foundation held a media meeting on 25 August 2026 at the United Kenya Club, in Nairobi bringing together journalists from leading media houses for a focused engagement on postpartum haemorrhage and other maternal health concerns. Led by Prof. Moses Obimbo, Prof. Julius Ogeng’o and Dr. Laura Oyiengo, the session strengthened journalists’ understanding of PPH, pre-eclampsia, sepsis, early pregnancies and unsafe abortions. The engagement provided an opportunity for the Foundation to share its work and key interventions in maternal health while equipping journalists with accurate information to support evidence-based reporting. Journalists from The Standard Group, Eastleigh Voice, Radio Maisha, Health Business Magazine, TV47 and The Star participated.
