The PPH Project is dedicated to tackling the global issue of postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity.
The PPH Foundation engaged community media practitioners virtually on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, as part of its efforts to strengthen grassroots awareness on postpartum haemorrhage and other maternal health concerns. The session brought together journalists drawn from Central, Mombasa, Lower Eastern, Western, Homa Bay and Kisii regions. The engagement provided an opportunity to share accurate information on PPH, maternal health and the Foundation’s ongoing initiatives, while highlighting the important role of community media in reaching audiences with locally relevant health information. The journalists were encouraged to amplify maternal health messages, support community awareness and promote participation in the 3rd PPH Run within their respective regions.
